Lead Handler / Sales Support

OVERALL PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
You will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities (B2B) using the company’s existing database developing the relationships with customers. The role will also include some sales administration duties.

KEY DUTIES:
• Generating new qualified leads and opportunities from customers
• Liaising with the Sales Manager to arrange meetings with the potential customers
• Maintaining the customer database
• Reporting weekly to the Sales Manager and working together to optimise opportunities
• Nurturing target accounts to further develop business opportunities
• Occasional customer visits to help establish relationships
• Loading orders onto system
• Sales order acknowledgement
• Updating customer lead-times
• Ensuring Quality procedures are up to date

PERSON SPECIFICATION:
• Excellent phone manner
• Sales background ideal
• Computer literate: Word, Excel, Outlook
• Good Standard of Education
• Excellent spoken and written English is essential
• Driving licence / own transport ideal

PERSONAL QUALITIES:
• High degree of accuracy
• Well organised able to prioritise workload
• Team player with positive attitude and approach
• Self-motivated with a willingness to learn

SALARY: £19,000 – £23,000 pa depending upon experience
HOURS: Monday – Thursday: 7.30am-5pm (30 mins lunch)
Friday: 8.00am – 12 noon
