Key Account Executive

Our client is looking for a Key Account Executive to join their sales team in Northampton. The role is responsible for managing and developing a number of key UK accounts, as well as supporting the team with identifying potential opportunities.
The Key Account Executive will need to develop strong working relationships with the buying and sales teams to encourage profitable sales growth.

Role responsibilities:
• Manage a designated number of UK Accounts, encouraging development and growth via positive customer relationships and researching new opportunities.
• Accountable for P&L and achieving sales targets with designated accounts.
• Analyse customer data and sales data to identify opportunities to maximise revenue.
• Manage sales strategy meetings with accounts, presenting relevant information.
• Work closely with Senior Management to identify opportunities for licensed products
• Develop strong working relationships with all internal departments in the business.

Skills and experience:
• Organisation and time management skills.
• Demonstrable sales forecasting ability in terms of both finance and stock management.
• Demonstrable sales and negotiation experience.
• Capable of forward-planning for different sales ranges, with ability to create and implement promotional plans.
• Strong communication ability, delivering consistently high level of customer service.
• Strong mathematical and numerical ability.
• Analytical, forward-thinking and proactive problem-solving skills.
• 2 – 3 years of sales experience is beneficial.
