At Select Hospitality Cambridge we are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for a Junior Sous Chef.

The Role
To support the Head Chef and Deputy Head Chef in the day to day running of the kitchen and maintaining the highest possible standards of food and service.

• Work with the Head Chef and Deputy Head Chef to plan and write menus for all areas of food service.
• Ensure that all staff are fully briefed on menu content prior to service
• Motivating and developing the team to consistently produce high standards
• To undertake or participate in any other duties or tasks as reasonably directed or requested by the Head Chef or Deputy Head Chef.

Experience and Skills Required
• NVQ Lv3 in Professional Cookery
• Basic food hygiene certificate.
• Ability to motivate others and an ability to adopt a hand-on approach in a varied and demanding team environment.
• Experience in working in a busy kitchen with responsibility of supervising/managing a team

Salary and Benefits
•My client is offering the successful Junior Sous Chef a salary of £25,728
