An exciting opportunity has arisen to recruit an Income Officer within a fast paced finance team.
We are looking for an innovative and aspirational person with drive and determination to join a multi-partner income team based at Cambridge. The team processes income for 3 different organisations.
Reporting to the Income Team Manager, you will be customer focused and have the ability to meet / exceed your performance objectives and achieve targets.
Your key priority is to action the efficient, accurate and timely processing of large volumes of income received in various forms, to the correct customer account.

The main duties of this role include:
• Cheque / direct debit processing
• Bank statement / internet payments
• Minimising unallocated / unapplied / suspense payments
• Resolving payment queries and processing customer refunds.

Skills and experience required:
• You must possess excellent IT skills and be confident in the use of a new ERP system together with cash management systems to process income.
• Public or private sector experience is equally valued to deal with customers and partners.
• A background in income processing with experience of customer service in an Accounts Receivable environment is useful, however someone with a finance background would be an ideal candidate.
