HSE ADVISOR – Great Yarmouth – Permanent – £dep on skills/exp

We are excited to be working on behalf of this company who are looking to recruit an experienced HSE Advisor to join their dedicated team in their Great Yarmouth office.
The role of the HSE Advisor will include bit not be limited to;
• Ensuring all work carried out is performed safely and reported accordingly
• Proactive actions to be in place to ensure the ongoing maintenance of safety – identifying any hazards and reducing any risks.
• Working with and implementing where necessary procedure and processes to achieve a safe and incident free workplace
• Carry out regular audits in line with company legislation
• Coordinate and deliver training programmes
• Carry out staff and visitor inductions
• Participate in accident and incident investigation
• Continuation and transition to ISO 14001 & OHSAS 18001
• Identify trend s in HSE and develop campaigns and improvement plans accordingly
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement
Skills/experience required of the HSE advisor includes;
• Recent, relevant HSE experience
• A solid and comprehensive knowledge of ISO 14001 (2015) & OHSAS 18001
• Sound knowledge of Root Cause Analysis (5y’s, Topset or similar)
• Lead Auditor
• Preferred NEBOSH – Occ Health & Safety
• Excellent attention to detail
• Ability to work with a demanding workload in a fast paced environment
SALARY: dep on skills/exp HOURS: 8.30am-5.30pm M-F. Bens include; 26 days hol plus bank hols, life insurance, contributory pension, free parking, flexible benefits.
