Head of Performance / Digital Marketing

A fantastic opportunity is now available for an experienced senior digital expert to join this global organisation, as Head of Performance, based out of either the Suffolk or Lancs.

You will be required to lead the strategic development and execution of marketing campaigns for all brands to support the delivery of the targets. You will be required to manage a substantial budget to deliver increased volumes of relevant traffic/leads to meet and exceed targets for leads.

The role covers all brands and all channels for online and offline acquisition.
A focus on data driven performance, continuous improvement and adoption of more relevant and effective strategies and media, is also central to the role

Key tasks, responsibilities and accountabilities
Maximise inbound traffic
Working with relevant agencies and (internal and external) partners – create, deliver and evaluate marketing campaigns and activities which drive traffic to the brands as appropriate:
o Paid search and online advertising
o SEO Strategy
o Social Media presence – paid and organic
o Mailings and Literature
o Sponsorship, partnerships, events and local activity
o Offline advertising inc. radio
o Acquisition focused PR and blogger outreach
o Referral schemes

More specifically:
•Produce and execute a lead generation strategy that delivers traffic growth and a greater share of relevant inbound traffic in order to meet the required volume of the leads
•Lead the relationship with internal and external agencies to maximise leads via paid search campaigns
•Identify any onsite improvements to homepages required to support organic growth and assist in their delivery.
•Identify content requirements to deliver organic growth and work with internal teams to support its delivery
•Develop a video outreach program, outbound social media and other paid media to increase the reach of the brand(s).
•Evaluate competitor performance and emerging channels and provide recommendations for adoption.
•Develop / optimise understanding of cross-channel attribution, including through the introduction of new attribution software.
•Generate new cutting edge ideas for lead generation with a focus on continuous improvement of existing strategies and opportunities.

You will be required to monitor performance against plan and react accordingly, delivering relevant content whilst supporting and developing key relationships

QUALIFICATIONS/EDUCATION REQUIRED

MINIMUM
•Educated to an A-level standard with numerical bias
•Formal Marketing Qualification ideal

SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED
•Strong online retail marketing experience across the wide range of online channels available.
•Experience of digital acquisition marketing techniques
•Ability to analyse and evaluate performance of digital marketing activities and make recommendations for improvements
•Knowledge of web analytics’s packages, in particular Google Analytics
•Commercially astute
•Strong communicator
•Strong organisational skills
•Ability to work to strict deadlines and prioritise work loads
•Experienced in managing key supplier relationships

RELEVANT CAREER HISTORY/EXPERIENCE

MINIMUM
o3 years minimum in online marketing retail environment in a similar role
oExperienced in planning and producing multi-channel communication campaigns.
