Head of Marketing

A fantastic opportunity for an experienced Head of Marketing to join this leading brand is now available.
You will be respondile for leading all marketing activity for the Group, targeting new and existing opportunities to grow the business inline with board objectives, supported by dynamic strategic and tactical marketing campaigns and initiatives.

Key Accountabilities:

•Be responsible for the strategic marketing activity and create a plan to meet the growth objectives of the business.

•Oversee and support the delivery of a marketing strategy which incorporates clear e-commerce and social media objectives which are in conjunction with more traditional marketing methods.

•Communicate the strategy to sales/marketing colleagues to integrate activity and ensure consistency across the Group.

•Develop and implement a strategy for growing on-line sales, including through web conversion (on and off line), database growth and utilising the CRM system

•Plan and manage marketing budgets in line with the expectations of the Board.

•Develop a close and structured working relationship with the group partners to identify mutually beneficial opportunities for growth.

•Use knowledge, competitor and market analysis to identify potential new products and services which could be included in the medium/longer term growth and marketing strategy.

•Oversee all marketing activity to make sure that it is targeted appropriately and preserves brand integrity for all of the Group’s brands at all times.

•Prepare and present marketing budgets; reports and strategies to internal and external colleagues as appropriate.

•Provide detailed marketing analysis for the board, use data and trends to evaluate and if necessary adjust sales and marketing activity.

•Lead and manage the team so that each individual has clear objectives and is motivated. Agree targets and service standards.

•Promote the exchange of ideas and information by carrying out regular team meetings. Keep everyone in the team up-to-date with relevant information enabling them to work as efficiently as possible.

•Carry out regular performance reviews and keep colleagues up-to-date.

•Clarify and maintain a clear relationship between the individual brands and that of the Group.

•Contribute to the work of external marketing organisations whose work clearly benefits the Group.

Experience required
•Proven successful record – gained in B2C travel or hospitality environment
•Management and leadership of a small team.
•Marketing and brand management – in-house – clearly linked to delivering a sales strategy for growth.
•Strong digital and ecomms skills
•Working in a in house marketing environment

Excellent salary in the region of £45,000 – £50,000 for the right individual together with som excellent benefits.
