Job Overview
My client, a luxury hotel brand are looking for a Front Office Manager. They are a 600 room hotel with 36 meeting and conference rooms and can cater for large scale weddings and events.

As a Front Office Manager you will be responsible for successfully executing all front office operations, including guest arrival and departure procedures. Strive to continually improve guest and employee satisfaction and maximize the financial performance of the department.

Duties & Responsibilities

Evaluate levels of Guest satisfaction and monitor trends, with a focus on continuous improvement
Maximise room occupancy at best rates and use up-selling techniques to promote hotel services and facilities
Ensure Team Members have current knowledge of hotel products, services, pricing and policies, as well as knowledge of the local area, and are continuously trained to learn and understand policies and practices
Manage staff performance issues in compliance with company policies and procedures
Recruit, manage, train and develop the Front Office of House team
Work closely with Revenue Manager to ensure all revenue streams are maximised
Manage the concierge, night team and work closely with housekeeping to ensure smooth running of the hotel.

Skills & Experience

Individual with at least 2 years’ experience in a similar role dealing with high volumes and groups.
Knowledge and experience of using Guest Line and advantage but not essential
Have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Has a strategic outlook and has the ability to manage and lead their team
Experience of new hotel openings a distinct advantage.
Experience of working in a large scale 4/5 star hotel essential.
