Finance Assistant

At Select Norwich, we are currently recruiting for a part-time Finance Assistant/Credit Controller on behalf of our client based in Norwich City Centre.
This is initially a 12 month contract, with the potential to be made permanent for the right candidate.

The Role:
• Assist with day-to-day running of the finance function
• Ensure clients records are well maintained at all times
• Carry out invoicing in a timely manner and chase outstanding payments via email, letter and telephone
• Assist with month-end and year-end procedures
• Streamline processes to ensure effective running of the department
• Any other duties as required by the business

Experience and Skills Required:
• Quickbooks experience desired
• Strong experience in credit control
• Warm and friendly telephone manner
• Proficient in MS Office, i.e. Excel
• A strong team player

Personal Characteristics:
• Highly organised and able to prioritise effectively
• Confident communicator
• Hardworking, diligent and proactive
• Passionate and helpful
