Events & Exhibition Co-ordinator

Your responsibilities will include:

– Event planning
– This work requires a meticulous and accurate approach to planning
– Dealing with suppliers and contractors
– Resource planning
– Develop and building strong relationships
– Marketing
– Budget management and cost control

About you:

– An understanding of artistic practice and exhibition organisation is essential.
– You will have excellent interpersonal skills, highly organised, professional and committed.
– You will be extremely IT-literate, with knowledge of databases and proficiency in MS Excel and Word.
– You will be comfortable working in a busy and, at times, pressurised environment
– The ideal candidate will be resilient to hard work and a creative thinker who can work well under pressure; ensuring the smooth and efficient running of events that exceed the client expectations.

This role requires someone that is dynamic and not afraid to roll their sleeves up as they will be hands on, yet they need to be able to organise and forecast workload planning for the department & team efficiently and to deadlines. You must be a highly energetic strong upbeat leader who can deal with big volumes of juggling deadlines and workload, which often changes through the day and daily.

It is key that you are a naturally proactive, outgoing, fun & positive as you will be customer facing and represent the company at various events

This role will report to the Managing Director and will be the key interface for Retail reporting back to the MD and working in partnership with the Operations Manager.

Hours of work – up to 40 hours per week (flexibility required)

Salary between £20,000 – £25,000 per annum dependent on experience
