Electronics Engineer (R&D) - Magnets

Are you a Senior Electronics Engineer with strong experience in designing precision instrumentation?

At Select we are working with a leading provider of high-precision instrumentation who span multiple sectors such as Defence, Space & Aerospace and Geosciences. We are currently looking to recruit an Electronics Engineer with specialism electromagnetism . As the Electronics Engineer you will be experienced in an R&D environment and will have seen multiple project from inception through to completion.

Key Responsibilities:
• Create feasible designs from customer requirements
• Work with analogue and Mixed Signal Design for precision instruments
• Linear and switch mode power supply design for low power circuits

You will be:
• Educated to a MSc or PHD level or equivalent in a related field
• Experienced in working with Magnetic field related instrumentation
• Experience of PCB layout and Schematic Capture
• Background in Instrumentation and control, Measuring instruments and sensors or Audio would be an advantage

The ideal candidate will have experience of taking a product from technical discussion to product release and have hands on experience using Altium.

What’s On Offer:
The Electronics Engineer will be offered a salary of £30,000-£55,000, dependent on experience. This is a full time, permanent position working 37.5 hours a week, Monday to Friday.
