Digital Marketing Executive

My client, a leading company in the UK, and in the Top 100 in Norfolk are now seeking a Digital Marketing Executive to join the team, responsible for implementing and optimising their digital marketing campaign activities through a variety of channels including: email marketing, social media marketing, SEO and PPC.

You will ensure that all digital activity should increase/maintains website traffic and rankings and you will analyse and report on visitor data, devising new ways to market products. Collaborative working with the whole of the Marketing Delivery Team will be essential to ensure that all on and offline channels work together in an integrated fashion.
Campaign content will be created by the Content Team and you will be expected to deliver, continuously measure and report on the effectiveness, making recommendations for improvements when appropriate. In addition, you will also be working with the Web Admin Team to ensure all product content is optimised for best results.

Key Duties:
• Working with the Content Creation Team you will be expected to deliver and measure the email activity in line with Marketing Delivery Manager’s direction
• Manage email list segmentation based on behaviours like past email engagement and website interactions (content downloads, site page visits, etc.) to support future recommendations and improving email effectiveness
• Develop road maps for automation process, driving conversion; measure results and optimise the lead nurturing workflows for these segments to convert leads into customers, utilising these marketing automation systems.
• Utilising A/B tests, and making recommendations
• Intelligently share content provided by the content team across appropriate channels to meet plan objectives
• Responsible for updating the website through use of the CMS with content provided by the content team ensuring best SEO practices and user experience principles are maintained
• Manage both on and off page SEO for the company, improving search rankings and search results by way of keyword research, page optimisation, back-linking etc
• Manage and improve organic search engine performance and goal-setting based on click through rates, traffic, and conversions
• Understand and reduce bounce rate, increase page stickiness and improve conversion
• Stay up-to-date with the evolving trends and changes with SEO and major search engines and influencers.
• Working with relevant sales teams, you will be expected to deliver lead generation opportunities in line with plan objectives and record conversion rates.
• You will be required to identify evolving trends, evaluate new technologies and resulting key word research to make recommendations for inclusion back to the delivery team to ensure that the business is at the forefront of industry developments.
PPC
• Manage the strategy and setup of paid digital campaigns to meet campaign objectives.
• Drive traffic and conversions through paid marketing channels
• Measure and optimize paid marketing using, Google Analytics, and marketing analytic reports.
• Collaborate with marketing team to maintain a consistent brand voice and message across all paid programmes
• Stay up-to-date with digital marketing trends, potential new channels and strategies to stay ahead of the market, including updates to social media marketing, attribution, and programmatic media buying. General Marketing Tasks
• Conducting market/competitor research where relevant to a campaign
• Liaise with suppliers to ensure new marketing material is relevant and accurate
• Support the Digital Content team with PR, ensuring that our relevant activities are promoted and shared on our social networks and internal messaging forums
• Produce weekly Google Analytics reports to demonstrate the performance of campaigns and activities against set KPI’s
• Support enhancement of digital marketing within the team by sharing knowledge
• To support the Marketing team with general duties as and when required
• Track, measure, and analyse all initiatives to report on social media ROI through using tools such as Twitter Analytics, Google Analytics, Sprout Social etc
• Analytics and report of the email outcomes, recommending improvements and sharing learnings
• Deliver leads to sales and track their success through measuring conversion rate

Key Skills / Qualifications:
• Degree qualified or equivalent working experience
• Demonstrable experience with email marketing, lead nurturing, marketing automation, and web analytics
• Excellent understanding of email marketing concepts and metrics such as Sender Score, deliverability and sender reputation
• Proficiency in email marketing and marketing automation technology
• Highly analytical and able to derive meaning from data through A/B testing and email optimisation
• Excellent writer and communicator (in both the written and verbal form)
• Ability to interpret analytics when reporting
• Thorough knowledge of search ranking and optimisation factors and key algorithm updates
• In-depth knowledge of the various paid marketing channels and technologies, including paid search (Google AdWords), retargeting, social network advertising (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and more)
• Proficiency in web analytics software and keyword tools
• Experience with data-driven SEO analysis and optimisation
• Proficient at using social media channels with a command of each network and their best practices.
