Digital Marketer

My client a leading tech start up in Norwich are now seeking a Digital Marketer to join the team.
The purpose of this role is to successfully implement the company’s website and lead generation strategy to grow online traffic, build engagement and increase conversion. Starting with responsibility of managing the current website, the role will also include managing the delivery of a new highly optimised website and its ongoing development.
You will be a customer experience and user journey champion, continuously improving the usability, design, content and conversion of all online presence, and own key web metrics such as load speed, bounce rates and conversion rates.
You will be comfortable working on all digital channels with a focus on conversion. You will implement digital marketing strategy across channels including PPC, SEO, Affiliate Marketing, display and social advertising. You will be accountable for the performance of online lead generation activity in the UK and US, you will manage the budget for acquisition, and own lead generation and CPA targets.
You will develop a strong understanding of the customers, products, competitors, industry, and the marketing and advertising goals of the company, and use this to create an online presence that delivers business objectives. Reporting, forecasting and data analysis form a large area of responsibility for this role. It is essential that you can succinctly articulate performance against targets, reasons for variance, and recommendations to deliver improvements.
This is as much a hands-on role as well as taking the lead.
A unique mix of technical and strategic skill is required, ideally you will have some developer experience.

The right person for this role will have:
● 5+ years in experience in a comparable role working across all digital channels
● B2B marketing experience
● Project management skills and experience of leading projects to deliver new websites with great UX and drive lead generation
● A demonstrable track record of running successful PPC campaigns with significant budgets (client or agency side)
● Strong proficiency with Google Ads, Google Merchant Centre and Google Analytics.
● Experience with conversion rate optimisation, including testing and optimising effective campaigns, and be able to demonstrate where they have made performance
improvements on multiple occasions
● A strong understanding of SEO and managing successful outreach programmes
● Agency, team, and relationship management experience
● Knowledge of the technical side to websites ie. factors to improve load speed, bounce rate, CRO, optimisation across all devices/platforms, etc.
● Knowledge of HTML and CSS
● Strong organisational, analytical and reporting skills with an advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets
● Highly computer, internet and mobile, literate.
● Proven ability to work quickly and effectively with a strong work ethic, a proven ability to work alone, manage own workload and to work under pressure.
● Amazing attention to details, and a commitment to getting work right first time.
● Great communication skills, including written and verbal and the ability to be able to communicate effectively with all levels within the business
● Ability to identify issues and proactively develop solutions.
● A can-do attitude, willing to be strategic and hand-ons
