Due to growth in projects my client is looking for a Customer/Project Co-ordinator to join the Customer & Engagement Department at a client site based in Rickmansworth. You will be responsible for the delivery of an exceptional customer experience and co-ordinate community engagement activities in line with social value contractual obligations. You will support the development of a best practice service that gains competitive advantage, ensures customer advocacy, and build relationships with the wider community whilst meeting agreed business goals and KPI’s. You will also support the Project in delivering our deliberate customer experience and successfully deliver against the Customer & Community Plan for the area within your scope of responsibility.

Key Responsibilities

You will be responsible for the whole lifecycle of the project from the pre-works stage right through to post work completion. You will also be involved in resolving complaints and making sure that the code of conduct is adhered to and promoted. You will also establish a work environment where health and safety is a priority.

General Duties
• Achieve agreed key performance indicators that meet both customer and business requirements
• Make recommendations for improvements to on-site systems/processes relating to Customer
Support & cover other colleagues as and when required
• Provide direction to Customer Ops Site Rep/Customer communications
• Maintain consistent communications with your line-manager through agreed channels.
• Establish and develop effective stakeholder relationships both internally and externally.
• Maintain documents, records and files in line with the Company standards and requirements.

This is a demanding role requiring a flexible approach to working hours. The successful candidate may be required to travel as part of their role to other Company construction sites, Company fixed locations or other locations as requested by Management.

Experience and Qualifications
At least 3 years previous experience in a fast paced working environment.
• Demonstrable track record in delivering a positive end-to-end Customer Experience, including face-to-face communications.
• Educated to GCSE standard (or equivalent) including English and Maths.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages including Word and Excel.
• Experience using Aconex is desirable.
• Customer Service NVQ level 2 or equivalent (Desirable not essential)

• Evidence of working to and achieving performance targets in a Customer
• Able to demonstrate a flexible approach that adapts to changing business and Customer needs.
• Ability to compile, interpret and challenge analytical data/reports using sound commercial judgement.
• A good understanding of the business process.
• Background knowledge of the Utilities/Construction Industry Skills
• Specific skills required for the job, (e.g. managerial, technical, IT, languages, gas specific)
• Excellent organisational skills
• Excellent written, communication and presentation skills
• Competent IT skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint
• A clean driving licence and willingness to travel also essential
