Customer Advisor

Our client, a leading charity is looking for a temporary Customer advisor to carry out a 3-month assignment.

This is a really varied and fulfilling role, helping the charity shop volunteers carry out their duties, providing advice and guidance as needed.
No day will be the same and you will be covering a wide variety of queries (you won’t be dealing with complaints though). This will mostly be via phone calls, as well as e-mails and some written correspondence.

To be considered you will need the following skills / experience:
– Excellent telephone skills – both listening and explaining
– A high standard of written English and able to respond to e-mails professionally and empathetically
– Customer service experience to a high standard
– Ideally experience of working in a retail environment
– Good IT skills and ideally experience of using databases
– Plenty of initiative in trying to resolve queries and issues

You will need excellent customer service skills, with a high level of attention to detail. It will sometimes be quite busy and you will need to be able to deal some pressure from time to time.
