Customer Account Manager

Our client a privately owned leading specialist provider of employee assistance programmes and integrated wellbeing and counselling services are urgently looking to recruit an experienced Customer Account Manager to join their busy commercial team.

This is an exciting opportunity to work in the rapidly expanding and dynamic field of workplace mental health – interacting daily with HR professionals seeking to support their teams in these challenging times.

This role is specifically focused on managing the requirements of approximately 400 customers, ranging in size from 15,000 staff to 15 staff. You will be the principal point of day-to-day contact for HR managers who buy their services.

The role will involve a mixture of office-based and home-working. The first 3-months will be exclusively office based in the organisations COVID secure south London offices. Then after the initial 3-month probationary / training period up to 2-days a week home-working is offered.

Day to day responsibilities:

• Respond to all ad-hoc requests from customers.
• Deliver occasional video-conferencing account management meetings.
• Promote and sell additional services to customers.
• Assist with preparation of quarterly reports.
• Manage complaints.
• Write content for monthly mental health newsletter.
• Manage customers who are ending their contracts.

The successful candidate will:

• Have proven experience in a B2B account management role.
• Have worked in a fast-paced small business environment.
• Have strong attention to detail, and be accurate and precise when preparing documents and entering data.
• Possess good inter-personal and communication skills and build positive relationships with key customers.
• Experience of the HR services, employee benefits, healthcare, OH or mental health sectors is a bonus.
