Privately owned company based in Sleaford, requires an experienced Cost & Purchase Ledger Support Assistant within a welcoming and friendly team.

The ideal candidate will have prior experience of journals, fixed asset register and experience of intercompany transactions, as well as costing and purchase ledger.

Responsibilities include:

– Ensuring that all invoices are totally checked and loaded onto SAGE
– Ensuring purchase ledger is tidy at all times
– Ensuring all recharges are journalled and all bank reconciliations are complete by the agreed dates for management accounts completion
– Ensuring that month end payment run is loaded and authorised on ‘bankline’
– Updating agency cost spreadsheets
– Querying all invoices that don’t agree to expected prices
– Ensuring monthly accruals are accurate by documenting when invoices are put on SAGE
– Management of Food & Janitorial Supply Costs

These responsibilities are not exhaustive.

The ideal candidate will be studying for AAT or prepared to start studying for it immediately.
