Set within a huge estate, the hotel is an extremely attractive setting for weddings, as well as other functions and conferences, and can cater for up to 500 guests across 3 separate areas, as well as other outdoor activities.

As the Conference and Banqueting Operations Manager, you will head up the Conference and Banqueting department, ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the entire operation; all events; and maintaining the absolute highest of standards to ensure maximum guest satisfaction. This is a luxury estate striving for nothing but the best.

As Operations Manager, control of wage costs and managing profitability is a key element of the role as well.
This is a fantastic but demanding role, and as such it needs a Conference and Banqueting Operations Manager of the highest calibre.

The Conference and Banqueting Operations Manager will:

– Demonstrate a successful career in Operational Events Management, preferably within the luxury hotel market.
– Be calm and confident under intense pressure.
– Possess problem solving skills and the ability to think on their feet.
– Have excellent communication and organisational skills, and real eye for the finest detail.
– Have great man-management skills, with the ability to train and develop, and most of all motivate the whole team.
– Possess strong financial awareness and business acumen.
– Have knowledge of wines and spirits, as well as Back Of House office systems.
– Be well presented, punctual, professional, and personable.
