Communications Manager

My client are a leading brand and now have an exciting opportunity within their marketing team for a Communications Manager to join them.
They are changing the face of retail by putting the customer at the centre of their business, and delivering beautiful products that are better than they need to be, and more affordable than they should be.

You will be responsible for managing, coordinating, developing and implementing all aspects of the company marketing strategy in recruiting, retention and reactivation.

You will initiate campaign ideas including promotions, competitions and exclusive offers. In this fast-moving business, you must have experience in driving change and have the interpersonal skills to secure buy -in at all levels within the organisation, operating through influencing rather than just line authority.

Reporting to the Marketing Director your Primary Responsibilities will be:

Recruitment
Increase prospect to orderer conversion in absolute and percentage terms from the following channels:
•Radio advertising, Off the page, Outdoor/OOH, Showroom, Catalogue requests, sample requests, on site communications, Increase house database value, Maximise value from existing customers by increasing repeat purchase rates and reducing time between repeat purchases, CRM strategy, Weekly and seasonal Marketing emails, Develop and implement new triggered email campaigns, Localised store promotions

Reactivation
•Increase net profit (GP3) contribution from inactive customers
•Customer LTV enhancement
•Customer GP3 enhancement
•Cohort analysis

Stakeholders
•Manage internal brand activities and communication
•Ensure all marketing and branding initiatives are suitability rolled out to internal stakeholders

Your day to day responsibilities will be;

Brand – Working with the Creative Manager to:
•Ensure consistency of brand in key channels such as email, website, retail newsletter sign up, social media and blog pages
•Develop and brief all printed brand materials (excluding catalogue)

Project Management – Working with the Group Implementation Manager to:
•Understand the companies key project deliverables by quarter
•Working with the GIM coordinate marketing resource to ensure key deliverables are met
•Where necessary plan, coordinate and deliver marketing specific projects working across departments (CST, IT, B&M)

Opportunity Identification
•Identify gaps in the existing company contact strategy
•Research, source and liaise with external suppliers to identify opportunities for increasing efficiency and new opportunities across all channels
•Present findings and opportunities to key stakeholders

Planning
•Manage and develop the Annual Marketing Calendar to integrate relevant seasonal events into our communications
•Manage and develop company contact strategy
•Manage & coordinate showroom, seasonal calendar & OTP promotions
•Coordinate brand development process using external agencies and internal project management function
•Work closely with the Buying and Merchandising Manager to design sale messaging at key sale periods
•Develop annual DM strategy across new and returning customers
•Forecast costs and revenue for DM

Analysis
•Provide Analysis on every aspect of contact strategy performance
•Implement changes to activity according to analysis

Segmentation and insight
•Drive value through insight by orchestrating advance customer profiling:
•Regression analysis
•LTV analysis
•GP3 over time
•Repeat purchase rates
•Competitive positioning
•Compile reports and review performance indicators across all channels

Local
•Design, coordinate and implement local marketing plans to support store activity
•Budget and book local marketing in line with operational boards expectations
•Work with local suppliers to ensure integrity of copy for all local advertising
•Work with designers and the Creative Manager to design and produce all relevant content across OOH, OTP and broadcast
•Research new suppliers in line with new store openings
•Timetable and ensure delivery of all localised advertising in line with company budgets and expectations
