At Select Hospitality Cambridge we are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for a Chef Manager, working Monday to Friday 7-4
Working for a major contract caterer in Leicester providing fresh seasonal food served to a high standard.

The Chef Manager will be someone who thrives on working with fresh and seasonal produce
Our client will want a Chef Manager who:
• Has experience cooking with fresh food from scratch
• Can train and lead a team to deliver excellent results
• Is comfortable working in high pressure environments
• Is very well organised
• Has very high standards of food and hygiene and can ensure the team follow all H&S policies
• Has a good understanding of financial controls and costing
• Can create innovative and interesting menus
• Ability to manage FOH & BOH operations

Personal Characteristics
• Responsible and trustworthy.
• Enthusiastic about staff training and development
• Good leadership skills.
• Experience working in multi kitchen units
• Understanding of market trends

Salary and Benefits
• My client is offering the successful Chef Manager a salary of between £32,000 – £36,000 depending on experience.
• Pension scheme.
• Meals on duty.

Other Information
• Working hours will be Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week.
