Commis Chef / Chef de Partie, Cambridge Hotel, £18,000-£23,000pa

A busy Hotel in Cambridge servicing both corporate and leisure guests as well as catering for conferences & events.

The Role
• Assisting the Head Chef and Sous Chef in preparing dishes from fresh ingredients to the highest standards at all times
• Ensuring portion control is adhered to and wastage is kept as a minimum
• Be a valued member of the team, create and maintain a good team spirit
• Attend staff training & meetings and other reasonable duties as requested by Sous and Head Chef

Experience and Skills Required
• Qualification in professional cookery is desirable but not essential
•Good knowledge of food trends with a passion for food
•Able to work with minimal supervision
•Able to keep calm under pressure

•A friendly and helpful approach with a professional attitude
•Responsible and trustworthy
•Have the ability to work within a team

Salary and Benefits
•My client is offering the successful Commis Chef / Chef de Partie a salary of between £18,000-£23,000pa
•Uniform provided
