Title: Business Development Manager
Location: Cambridge, Cambridgeshire
Salary: £30,000 p/a
Our client is an exciting and rapidly growing digital business. You will be joining a new business unit within the very successful e-commerce technology business. Working with leading online retailers to drive additional sales from Google Shopping through the affiliate marketing channel.

You will have a consultative selling style with the ability to generate revenue by securing new clients. Comfortable with prospecting, cold calling and negotiating in person and via telephone.

Duties of the Business Development Manager:
• Arrange and attend client and agency meetings by phone and in person.
• Manage the sales process efficiently, keeping all client details up to date on the CRM system.
• Manage a portfolio of clients to nurture length of relationships and growth.
• Call and prospect to ensure growth targets are met.
• Provide excellent customer service and be a brand ambassador.
• Be comfortable working to sales targets and KPIs.
• Report sales activity and present in team meetings and to management.

Requirements of the Business Development Manager:
• Experience in Business development/sales in online advertising/marketing.
• Experience managing client relations to retain and grow business.
• Experience of being accountable for sales activities and reporting back to management/team.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Excellent written and communication skills.
