Agency Account Manager

An excellent opportunity is now available for an experienced Account Manager to join this growing agency in Norwich.

Key Responsibilities
● To effectively and profitably manage a portfolio of clients
● To build relationships with clients, working with them as part of their team
● To put in place account development plans for key clients in order to identify new revenue opportunities for the agency
● To engage and collaborate with other teams in the agency as required
● To help identify new clients and make pitches to them as required
● To confidently and passionately plan, write and deliver client presentations and proposals
● To write clear, concise, informative project briefs
● To write website specs for digital projects – outlining the functionality requirements including wireframing page layouts
● To produce project time plans
● To lead client workshops
● To accurately proofread materials before being sent on to the client
● To user test websites identifying any issues and bugs
● To content load websites, where required
● To lead projects, assuming total control for delivery and implementation
● To ensure that projects are delivered on time and to budget
● To cost and manage projects on our internal system including raising estimates, purchase orders and invoices as necessary
● To produce accurate reports on the status of your accounts, including the maintenance of a forecasting and invoicing spreadsheet
● To monitor the financial health of your accounts on a weekly basis, flagging overdue invoices and issues before they become problematic
● To manage supplier relationships including printers, freelance resource and other suppliers as and when

● Knowledge of InDesign desirable (we use this for putting presentations together)

This is a customer-facing role, excellent interpersonal skills and a friendly demeanour are an absolute must.

Experience
At least 2-3 years’ experience in a similar role within an agency environment.
Previous experience managing digital projects (eg websites, digital ad campaigns etc) desirable as would be exposure to print processes and formats (litho, digital, finishings etc).

Education
You will ideally be university educated with a degree in a relevant subject and show a keen interest in marketing and the creative sector. Good secondary qualifications to A-level standard essential.
