Administrator / Purchasing Assistant – £9.50 per hour – Temp/Perm

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Administrator / Purchasing Assistant to join a cutting-edge power company based in Norfolk.

As an Administrator / Purchasing Assistant your role will involve updating engineering release sheets on to Sage 50 Manufacturing. Also working alongside, the Buyer & Supply Chain Manager to get quotes and raise orders. Dealing with day to day administration including, assisting in, shipping and answering the phone.

This is a full time position 8.30-5.00 Monday-Friday with 1/2 hour for lunch.

£9.50 per hour within onsite parking

Key Duties:
• Purchase goods, materials, components or services in line with specified cost, quality and delivery requirements
• Support the Purchasing Team and all other company departments with effective communication of any supply problems or constraints, which may impact on business operations
• Be one of the key contacts between suppliers and other relevant company departments on procurement processes, new projects and activities
• Provides analysis on costs, new and existing and reviews cost reduction activities
• Prepares, raises and carries out purchase orders
• Check stock levels
• Chase quote inquiries from suppliers
