Job Role: Accounts Administrator
Salary: £18,000 to £21,000 DOE
Location: Lincoln

Our client based in Lincoln, is looking for a talented Accounts Administrator to join their team and play a key role in providing an excellent service to our internal and external clients, working across a small group of companies.

Main Duties

•Paying supplier invoices in a timely manner
•Ensuring that receivables are collected promptly.
•Creating and issuing invoices to customers.
•Purchase ledger invoice processing and payment runs
•Daily banking
•Bank reconciliations
•Credit card reconciliations
•PayPal reconciliations
•Staff Payroll
•Preparation of Management Accounts
•Monthly VAT returns

Essential Experience/Skills

•AAT Qualified (working towards) or have proven work experience as an Accounts Administrator
•Advanced knowledge of Excel (using financial formulas and creating spreadsheets)
•Solid data entry skills with an ability to identify numerical errors
•Good organisational and time-management abilities
•Good verbal and written communication skills.
•Organised and methodical approach to record keeping and reporting.
•Honesty and discretion when handling confidential information, financial or otherwise.
•Self-motivated but works equally well in a team environment.
•Experience of the Xero accounting package would be an advantage.
