After a decade of trading in Chelmsford, our client has an ambition to be the market leaders in their specialist field by 2021. They are now looking to expand their Technical Sales team, to add further expertise and ensure they have the support in place to manage their growing customer bank and sales. All leads are inbound at present so this is an incredibly warm sales role which would suit someone with previous account management experience looking to gain a role within a company that will reward their efforts.

Ideally we are looking to speak to candidates who have a desire to work within a growing, expert team offering advice and guidance over the phone. Candidates should be well versed in securing a consultative sale and although an understanding of working within a technical environment would be preferred, full training is provided.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a growing, successful team within a dynamic, interesting company where there is an opportunity to progress. As the company expands there will also be opportunity for travel across the UK and Europe to attend events and client meetings.

Account Manager attributes required:

• Excellent standard of verbal and written English
• Awareness and understanding of new technology
• Customer service / sales experience
• Networking skills
• Ability to learn about new products in a constantly changing tech environment
• Have experience of working to, meeting and exceeding targets (KPI’s)
• Strong proactive attitude
• Ability to negotiate, cross and upsell

Account Manager role requirements:

• Process new enquiries
• Actively manage existing accounts to ensure repeat business and develop cross and upselling opportunities within those companies
• Liaise with internal departments to facilitate the above. This will include Marketing, Operations and Finance
• Meet or exceed Service Level Agreements set by management
• Accurate and timely use of CRM and other systems in accordance with company policy
• Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of company products and services
• Provide accurate reports, forecasts as required to adhere to management requirements

We are looking for an exceptional, well presented, well spoken and well turned out professional for this challenging but rewarding role where excellent customer service and delivery is paramount.

Naturally, good time keeping, a clear telephone manner, ‘can-do’ attitude and a keen interest in current and new technology is essential.
