1st Line Desktop Support – Welwyn Garden City – £18k –

You will be working within this busy team delivering excellent 1st line support via telephone, email, remote tools and onsite/hands-on. Some travel off-site is involved and you will need access to your own vehicle.
Responsibilities include:
• Monitor and update the help desk; prioritise and respond to help desk tickets ensuring they are responded to in a professional and timely manner.
• Installation and deployment of hardware, cabling & patching
• Provide technical support and maintenance for the company’s global network; LAN, WAN, servers, computer systems, remote computers & related hardware and software
• Support the company’s cloud based Mail System and in-house VoIP system (Cisco)
• Plan & implement upgrades, maintenance updates and vendor-supplied patches
• Support mobile devices (iOS & Android)
• Troubleshooting and administration of hardware and software

Knowledge & experience of:

• Windows (all versions)
• Windows Server 2008/2012/2016
• Active Directory
• Networking; Cabling, Switches, DNS, DHCP
• Hardware repairs

You will be organised and analytical, have excellent communication and customer service skills.
