At Select Recruitment we are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for a Goods in Manager.
The Role
Goods in Manager needed to join the stock control team at this multi million pound flagship garden centre.. Working alongside the Centre Manager, you will ensure that all goods entering the business are accounted for, documented and stored efficiently to ensure rapid deployment to the shop floor.
At all times you will be responsible for ensuring that the system is as accurate as possible, by ensuring correct scanning of products.
You will be responsible for a small team of warehouse operatives ensuring that all relevant training and procedures are followed.
As part of the role, the goods in manager will spend the a period of the role outside, so the you will need to be ok working outside in all weathers, appropriate PPE & cold weather clothes will be supplied as required.
The ideal candidate will be well organised with a keen eye for detail, with strong experience in leading, motivating and training a team.
You will hold retail experience due to the volume and nature and style of the business and also have excellent computer literacy
Responsibilities
• Booking in and prioritising deliveries
• Using Epos system
• Responsible for all goods entering and leaving the company
• Training and monitoring the teams development
• Raising credits for faulty/missing goods
• Monitor and maintain forklifts
• Monitoring wastage

• Ideally hold a Fork Lift licence
• Flexible as regards to shift patterns

• Retail experience essential
