Our client provides a range of healthcare services for the NHS and other clients across the UK. They currently have a position for a UI Designer.

JOB PURPOSE:

Responsible for the creation of visual content across portfolio of brands that meets creative, commercial and consumer needs in accordance with agreed deadlines. Deliver work that meets brand guidelines,best practise design framework, web standards, DDA compliance and usability.

Being one of multiple touch points for our consumers, all design work must be visually engaging, and considered as part of the bigger multi-channel consumer journey.

DIMENSIONS:

• Working across products, web, new services, seasonal marketing campaigns and 'always-on' content, producing visual designs, appropriating for relevant platforms, tools and media, applying SEO knowledge at all times.
• Liaison with internal teams; including product, digital, sales, national care marketing and customer service teams.
• Ensure all work is executed in line with brand guidelines.

AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITY:

• Take briefs based on the business objectives, offering design options for consideration, developing and delivering final design/artwork to approval and delivery deadlines.
• Create variety of digital commerce visual assets eg banners, headers, page layouts, social media, tools, paid media, email look and feel. Including video production, interaction design and photography for upload into various systems and teams; eg CMS, Youtube, PIM,etc.
• Provide original thinking and creative insight, displaying strength of design through creative execution
• Support and guide on product imagery guidelines, principles and continuous improvement
• Design assets for activation on various channels including email, social, web, video, brand development, PR and occasionally print in conjunction with stakeholders.
• Lead on image technical requirements for the content management system, ecommerce and product management platforms.
• Take responsibility for maintaining new brand identity post UX and UI design phase.
• Prioritising and adapting levels of resource to deliver objectives.
• Digtial media support as the team requires through creatively producing assets, artworking and art direction from product imagery through to richer, highly engaging forms of content.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND BEHAVIOURS REQUIRED:

Skills:

• Be educated to degree level or equivalent in a design discipline with a keen interest and passion in all things digital, including photography and videography.
• Proficient in using Adobe creative suit.
• Proficient in using figma software or similar user interface tools.
• Good working knowledge of HTML, CSS etc.
• Strong understanding of typography, colour, messaging hierarchy and layout
• Creative designer with exceptional attention to detail, flare and teamworking.

Experience:

• Manage and prioritise workload considering demands and deadlines from the wider team
• A portfolio of previous digital work preferably in an ecommerce environment.
• SEO knowledge and interest.
• Experience on digital marketing campaigns and multi-platorm activations.
• Previous experience in digital design in the world of healthcare, and working with front-end dev
• Experience working on a whole customer journey as part of a team.
