Monday to Friday, 12:00pm – 8:30pm
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Stores Operative to join a busy and growing warehouse operation in Ely.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong stock control and warehouse experience who is looking for a long-term position with the potential to become permanent.
Key Responsibilities
- Tracking, managing, and maintaining accurate stock records
- Carrying out quality control checks and inspecting goods for damage or shortages
- Loading and unloading deliveries, both manually and using a forklift where required
- Investigating stock discrepancies and reporting faults or issues promptly
- Supporting stock audits and inventory checks
- Ensuring warehouse stock accuracy and maintaining high operational standards
Requirements
- Counterbalance Forklift experience preferred but not essential providing on experience (valid or recently expired licence accepted)
- Alternatively, extensive warehouse and stock control experience
- Good literacy and numeracy skills
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to process information accurately
- Reliable, organised, and able to work effectively within a team environment
