We are looking for an organised and ambitious Sous Chef to work for a luxury Hotel and Spa.

Job Summary:

As leader, you will work systematically and have an avid eye for detail, whether that be in dish execution or hygiene standards. Our client has high expectations for you to perform consistently at a high standard for discerning guests.

Main Responsibilities:

• Supporting the Head Chef
• Strong leadership skills and a keen eye for detail.
• Experience in all aspects of kitchen management such as, menu writing and costing, stock taking, rotas, cleaning schedules and dealing with suppliers and excellent knowledge of current food trends.
• Nurturing and developing Culinary talent, sharing the skills you've learned;
• Interacting with the guests within the Hotel in always professional, helpful and doing everything you can to exceed their expectations during their stay as a guest.

Qualifications and Experience:

• NVQ level 3 in Professional Cookery or equivalent is desirable
• Must have worked with fresh produce
• Come from a restaurant lead environment
