I am reaching out regarding a job opportunity that has come up in Huntingdon from one of our longest running clients who are looking to expand their team of skilled persons, a key part of the team in the form of a Sheet Metal / Welding Operative
Details below:
• Salary: £11 - £13/hour dependent on experience
• Location PE29
• Job Type: Permanent
• Overtime is available at 1.5x from 7am - 8am every weekday morning and on Friday afternoons from 1pm - 4pm and also Saturday mornings from 7am - 12pm
• This is a Permanent position. You will be required to work Monday to Friday on an 8:00am to 5:00pm shift.
Your daily duties will include:
• Cutting of steel bars/box sections
• Bending metals
• Hammering and forming Aluminium
• Repairing Caterham chassis and body work, to get back out on track or road
Manually routing Aluminium body work pieces
• Heavy lifting and moving finished stock within the factory.
