My client are renowned leaders in their field and are seeking both an experienced Merchandiser and a Merchandise Assistant.
As Merchandiser, your key duties will include working closely with the buying team to analyse seasonal sales performance, profitability, consumer buying patterns, market trends and competitor activity to identify areas of opportunity and risk. You'll also be confident in compiling & presenting seasonal product strategy, sourcing strategy, pricing strategy and financial KPI’s.
You'll be excited to work with the buying team when it comes to planning commercial and exciting ranges which meet the agreed strategy.
To succeed in this role, as well as experience in merchandising, you'll have the following:
• Excellent numerical, analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong commercial acumen
• High level of attention to detail
• The ability to respond quickly to changing demands of the business and demonstrates strong skills in organising, prioritising and time management
• Ability to think strategically whilst keeping sight of the detail at all stages
• Strong interpersonal, influencing, communication and presentation skills
You will be a highly-motivated individual who shows initiative at every opportunity, and someone that displays the highest levels of integrity, confidentiality and commitment.
