Maintenance Operative (Temporary to Permanent)
Our client, an established educational organisation based in Headington, Oxford, has an exciting opportunity to join their team as Maintenance Operative.
In this exciting and entry level role, which involves career and personal development, you will initially be contracted for approx. 12 weeks with the view of becoming a permanent member of staff.
My client is fairly flexible on experience, permitting you have some experience with a trade.
The successful candidate will be entitled to 10.40 p/h and will work 40 hours a week. Once permanent you will be entitled to salary of between £20-21k plus a benefits package.
The Role
·General maintenance & Repairs
·Basic Plumbing, Electrics, painting and decorating
·Furniture Assembly & moving
·Dealing with Contractors
·Assisting with management of stock
·Update work lists
The Ideal Candidate
·Experience or qualification with a trade
·Good English Communication skills
·Customer Service skills
·Can-do Attitude
·Flexible approach and team working skills
