Are you someone who loves technology but also is highly personable and wants to make a difference to the clients that you look after and build those relationships?

My IT Account Manager role will manage a mixture of New Business and Account Management of our existing customers. The customer focused candidate will be expected to grow the accounts of IT services to an existing database of customers spending varied amounts as well as pro-actively profile and build relationships with new customers who purchase IT. The account manager will be responsible for introducing servers, workstations, networking and infrastructure products. They will be tasked on developing breadth of account, project management and new customer spend through thorough fact finding calls and meetings.


Key Tasks & Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular account review meetings with customers.

• Produce quotations and proposals.

• Develop & maintain strong relationships with clients.

• Negotiate contract renewals.

• Liaise with current suppliers to obtain pricing and Technical Support.

• Develop targeted campaigns to increase product pipeline.

• Produce reports for monthly activities and forecasting.

• Develop a monthly, quarterly and annual pipeline.

• Introduce and explain the company's products, services and value-added offering.

• Promote the company through social media channels such as LinkedIn.

• Managing inbound email and website enquiries.

• To effectively manage accounts and grow customer spend through relationship building.

• Make outbound calls to new prospects.

• Pre and Post Sales technical advice to customers.

• To perform any other duties appropriate to the role.


Skills Required:

• Experience in selling Managed IT Services & IT Support contracts.

• Display a basic knowledge and general understanding of server/client networking.

• Familiarity of Apple and Microsoft based solutions with particular emphasis towards Office 365 product stack.

• Track record of delivering new business and account management.

• The ability to plan ahead and prioritise.

• Strong communication and relationship building skills.

• Knowledge of a full sales cycle.

• Excellent organisational skills.

• Be driven and enthusiastic


Important Internal Relationships: MD, Support Services Director, Service Delivery Manager, IT Operations Manager, all team members within Support.

Important External Relationships: Customers and Suppliers
