General Manager
Our client, a prestigious and high achieving, award-winning Gastropub based in West Berkshire (RG18) has an exciting opportunity to join their team as General Manager.
Reporting directly to the owner of the business, you will be managing and responsible for the day-to-day operations of the business.
The Role
·Manage a team of up to 7 FOH, 2 housekeepers and alongside the Head Chef, manage 6 kitchen staff
·To oversee and manage breakfast, lunch and dinner services of up to 150 covers
·To control all operational costs and ensure financial budgets and targets are achieved
·Oversee the management of all bookings and checklists
·To adhere to wage targets each weak, FOH and kitchen
·In conjunction with the Head Chef, devise a quarterly event plan
The Ideal Candidate
·Experience of being in a similar role in a Gastropub/hotel (min 2 years)
·Interpersonal with excellent verbal and written communication
·Friendly and positive manner to customers and staff
·Knowledge of legal requirements (Health and Safety, Food Hygiene, Licensing Laws etc.)
·Proficient IT skills

You will be entitled to a salary of between £34-38k dependent on experience plus £5k tronc, holiday package and pension scheme in addition you will be entitled to further benefits.
