Front of House/Bar Team Member – Golf Clubhouse

Location: Bury St Edmunds
Hours: Guaranteed 35 hours per week
Pay: £12.71–£12.80 per hour

About the Role

We’re looking for a friendly, enthusiastic and reliable Front of House/Bar Team Member to join our client and their close-knit team at a busy golf clubhouse.

This is a varied role, ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, takes pride in what they do and is happy to get stuck in. Personality and attitude are very important – we’re happy to teach the right person everything they need to know.

You’ll be an important part of the clubhouse team, helping to make sure members, guests and event customers receive a warm, friendly and professional service.

What You'll Be Doing

Your role will include:

  • Setting up and preparing the clubhouse for service
  • Serving drinks from the bar
  • Providing friendly and welcoming front of house service to members and guests
  • Working closely with the chefs to ensure smooth service
  • Supporting the Club Management team with day-to-day clubhouse operations
  • Helping to set up and run events and functions
  • Ensuring all front of house duties are completed to a high standard
  • Keeping the front of house areas clean, tidy and ready for service
  • Working independently when required, while also being part of a close-knit team
  • Being flexible and willing to go the extra mile to help the team and our customers

The Hours

You’ll be guaranteed 35 hours per week, with flexibility required around the needs of the clubhouse and events.

Shifts will include:

  • Early shift: Starting at 7:45am, including breakfast setup and service
  • Late shift: Finishing around 7:00–8:00pm

Some lone working will be involved, so we’re looking for someone who is confident, responsible and able to use their own initiative.

Experience in hospitality or front of house is preferred but not essential. What matters most to us is your personality and attitude.
