We have a fantastic opportunity available to join a renowned life-science research institute as their Events Manager for a maternity cover contract!
Our client has been at the forefront of bioinformatics and biotechnology research for over a decade, and their findings have help make several advances in the sector. As lovers of science, they regularly host public engagement events and education programmes to share their passion with as many people as possible. They’re looking for someone who can help them with coordinating and overseeing all event processes and ensure that these activities run as smoothly as possible.
You’ll bring your extensive experience of event planning and organisation to the role, bonus points if you have experience from the academic sector! You’ll be able to draft and control budgets and produce budgetary reports, as well as taking ownership of event materials requirements so that everything is ready on time.
With a salary of up to £32K and a contract for 13 months, this is an exciting and rewarding chance to be a part of a truly fantastic institution.
