Our client, a friendly and well-regarded care home in the Norwich area, is currently seeking a dependable Catering Assistant to support their kitchen team.

The Role:
As a Catering Assistant, you will support the day-to-day running of the kitchen, ensuring meals are prepared and served efficiently while maintaining high standards of hygiene and cleanliness.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with basic food preparation (e.g. peeling, chopping, simple meal assembly)
- Serve meals and beverages to residents where required
- Wash up utensils, crockery, and kitchen equipment
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen and dining areas
- Follow food hygiene and health & safety procedures at all times
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous experience in a catering or kitchen environment is desirable but not essential
- A valid Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
- Own transport is desirable
- A positive, reliable, and hardworking attitude
- Understanding of the importance of hygiene and cleanliness in a care setting
