Coffee Shop/Cafe Manager, Cambridge independent Business, up to £28,000
At Select Hospitality Cambridge we are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for a Coffee Shop/Cafe Manager
A thriving, independent family business in an affluent village just outside Cambridge are looking for an enthusiastic, committed individual to take on the role of Café Manager.
The Role
• Cafe Manager needed for a busy independent coffee shop/café to help build on already thriving business.
• A hands on approach role, the successful Manager will be in charge of leading the service on the floor as well as managing staff and supporting the owner in the administration of the business.
• The shifts entailed for the Manager would be 5 days out of 7, with no evenings
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is genuinely interested in local produce and excellent quality light bite food, and would like to take on responsibility and use their initiative. You will have excellent management skills to be able to manage a team of upto 10 staff overseeing all recruitment, training, administration & due diligence. You will ideally come from a business where you have had previous autonomy and are able to run the business as your own.
Your experience will enable you to drive topline sales through noticing sales opportunities, reacting to customer requirements and effective team training
As well as a great salary of up to £28000, depending on experience, my client offering the successful Coffee Shop/ Cafe Manager the opportunity to influence the direction of the business and an opportunity to run the business as their own.
