Ruby is a Recruitment Specialist based in our Norwich office, covering roles across Construction, Engineering, and Logistics. Although new to recruitment, she brings a strong and directly relevant background that makes her well placed to hit the ground running in these sectors.
Prior to joining Select, Ruby spent three and a half years in Australia as a Client Liaison for a residential construction company, guiding clients through the entire process of building their homes from start to finish. Managing timelines, handling delays, coordinating across different workstreams, and keeping a close eye on site progress and personnel gave her a thorough grounding in how construction projects are run — and the people who make them happen. Before that, Ruby built eight years of retail experience in the UK, working her way up to supervisor at a well-known high street coffee chain, where she developed the people skills and composure under pressure that serve her well in any client-facing role.
Outside of work, Ruby loves to travel, with a particular fondness for South East Asia and its beaches. Closer to home, she enjoys visiting pubs with friends and family, and shares her home with a dog and a tortoise.
