Eggs-citement mounted in Basildon hospital's puffin children's ward, as the Easter delivery was due.

No wonder - the young patients were overwhelmed with more than 100 chocolate eggs and a whole bunch of soft toys.  Every year staff from Select in Romford and some of their clients contribute to an egg feast for youngsters who have to spend the festive period in hospital.

"Everyone has been really generous this year, and we have been able to bring more eggs and toys than ever to the children's ward, said Select's team leader Jessica Theedom
