egg-citing times for appeal

MORE than 300 Easter eggs have been delivered to youngsters at Lister Hospital.

Select appointment staff based in Stevenage used their recruiting abilities to encourage clients to donate chocolate eggs to youngsters in aid of the Building Blocks appeal.

Kelly Notley, executive manager at the Stevenage branch said, “We have been overwhelmed by the level of response from our clients who have been extremely generous in taking the time and trouble to go out and purchase Easter eggs for this appeal.”

“At Select we are committed to working with the local community and trying to give something back when we can. This appeal is a perfect example of this, and it is great to be able to bring pleasure to lots of deserving people!”

Fundraiser Suzanne Roynon said: “Our nursing teams care for children both within the hospitals and out in the community where many chronically sick children are looked after in their own homes.

“Every child will now be able to receive an Easter egg thanks to the incredible support form Select Appointments and their clients.

“This is a great example of a local company supporting the Building Blocks appeal; to provide the extras that make all the difference for children cared for by our hospitals.”
