easter cheer for children
Sick youngsters had an egg-stra special Easter when they were inundated with chocolate eggs.
Romford-based job agency Select, in South Street, handed over 300 chocolate eggs last Thursday to terminally ill children at St Luke’s Hospice, in Basildon.
The eggs had been donated by Select clients during the past few weeks.
Staff were pictured out on the streets this week celebrating their fundraising initiative and wearing hardhats and reflective jackets to launch their new non-office recruitment business — Parkhouse Recruitment — from their office.
Franchisee Amar Ladhar said: “It was really nice to give the children something at Easter. Thanks to everyone who donated to the cause.”
