    children’s chance to indulge

    Easter Eggs

Poorly youngsters smiled away their blues after receiving a surprise visit from the Easter Bunny.
Children on Clover Ward at King George Hospital, Barley Lane, Goodmayes, tucked into chocolate treats thanks to kind-hearted staff at recruitment company Select Appointments.

Staff at the branch, in Cranbrook Road, Ilford, collected 500 eggs after asking clients to make tasty donations and decided to spread the goodwill to children in the hospital. They also visited youngsters at Haven House Children’s Hospice, High Road, Woodford Green, Newham University Hospital, Glen Road, Plaistow, the Royal London Hospital and Homerton Hospital, Whitechapel.

Business director Marcelle Wiseman said. “Easter is a time when everyone loves to receive chocolate and we thought it would be a welcome surprise for the children.

“It is always nice to make children feel happier, to cheer them up and give them a chance to indulge in some seasonal chocolate eggs, especially when they are in a less privileged position then most.”
