the worcester warriors welcome select appointments

    Aleki Lutui

    January 2008

Aleki Lutui, Worcester Warrior’s star hooker, officially opened Select Appointments in Worcester on Monday January 21st 2008.

Select Appointments is one of the UK’s leading staffing companies, excelling at placing temporary and permanent office staff into the secretarial and administration, call and contact centre, accountancy and finance, sales and marketing, legal and medial sectors. Lee Broadway, an experienced recruitment professional, is delighted to have opened his new franchise Select Appointments office.

Lee decided to pursue a franchise opportunity with the UK’s leading staffing services company Select Appointments and comments “I was initially interested in franchising as there is less risk than starting up a business on your own. Having worked in recruitment in Worcester for the last 10 years, I knew of Select’s franchising model and was impressed by the support offered. The recruitment industry is very challenging, yet also varied and rewarding. The services the industry offers are now more in demand than ever, mainly due to the shortage of correctly skilled candidates.”

The official launch party was held at the offices at 14 The Tything where local businesses attended to celebrate. Aleki Lutui wished Lee Broadway well with his new venture and Lee was thrilled that Aleki could officially open his business.

Lee has always lived in the Worcester area and his local knowledge and recruitment expertise means that he is well aware of the problems companies can face when trying to recruit. Lee comments “HR Departments are becoming more involved in areas such as Employee Relations and, as such, are not always able to devote the time to recruitment in the way that a dedicated, specialist supplier like Select can. Worcester is thriving town that benefits from continuous investment, which means more jobs and more challenges in recruiting. We will be working closely with local businesses and local people in order to achieve our business goal: finding jobs for people and people for jobs.”
