I’m Sara, Select’s resident blogger, and I am so excited to launch Select’s first official blog.   I hope to keep you up to date with all of our latest news, features and industry developments.

Our most important and exciting announcement is our new and improved Select Appointments website - please have a good look around and check out some of the newer features. These include a post code search to help you find that perfect local job and our interactive vodcasts when you can watch videos of other people we have found jobs for through to our own CEO Diane Martyn, to name just a few. Well, it has been a busy start to 2008 for all of us at Select. Apart from the massive redevelopment of our website, we have just held our Annual Conference where we recognised and celebrated the outstanding achievements and successes of our staff. This prestigious event was held at the Celtic Manor in Wales and we presented prizes worth over £100,000 to leading staff! We are also waiting with baited breath to see whether we have been recognised as a Sunday Times Top 100 Company to work for, for the 2nd year running – so fingers crossed and we will keep you posted!

We have, as always, been busy expanding our network of offices to make sure that you have a local office near you and are pleased to announce the opening of Select Appointments in Worcester and Dublin West.
