Tower Hamlets PCT offers a range of community and primary care health services including:

• Walk-in Centre and support provided by district and school nurses and health visitors
• Specialist children's services
• Services for older people and rehabilitation
• Services for people with learning disabilities
• Foot health
• Women's and young people's services including family planning
• Public health and health improvement
• Community and salaried dentistry
• Therapies: audiology, occupational therapy, physiotherapy, speech and language therapy for children, primary care psychology

These services are provided in a wide range of venues including health centres, GP surgeries, schools, people's homes as well as in hospitals, including Mile End Hospital which is managed by the PCT.

Tower Hamlets PCT directly employs more than 1000 members of staff and works with general practitioners and their staff, pharmacists, dentists and independent contractor opticians.
