Select Group, one of the UK’s leading staffing companies, are celebrating being a Sunday Times Top 100 Company for the second year running.
These prestigious awards are part of the biggest survey of employee opinion with more than 180,000 employees across 868 companies contributing to this year’s findings. Select was one of only a handful of other recruitment organisations to make it into the list and jumped a massive 42 places up the list from last year, which is a phenomenal achievement.
Although renowned for finding jobs for people and people for jobs, Select know that their people are their greatest asset. Everyone at Select Group, which includes Parkhouse Recruitment, Select Hospitality, Select Capital and Calibre Recruitment, help find jobs for more than 10,000 people every day. While they are busy doing their best for their customers they are safe in the knowledge that Select is looking after them too.
Employees at Select trust their senior managers, knowing that they truly live the values of the company, scoring this question 77% positive. Chief Executive Officer, Diane Martyn, is pleased that employees feel so strongly about the ‘Select Family’. Upon receiving the award, Diane commented “I am thrilled that Select has been acknowledged again in these prestigious awards and am delighted that all our employees feel so warmly about the Select Family. I was overwhelmed last year when we received this special recognition and we have worked tirelessly to ensure that Select remains a best company. To move up the list by 42 places is amazing. At our annual conference, my key message was that amazing things can happen when you believe and this is certainly proof of that.”
It’s a real team effort at Select with employees caring about their colleagues – scoring this question 84% positive. They have fun with their workmates (83%) and feel that they make a valuable contribution to the success of the company (80%).
