Select Franchise, one of the leading UK recruitment franchisors, is celebrating after winning a coveted award at the second annual Franchise Marketing Awards.

Held on 23rd March 2007 at the Marriott Grosvenor Hotel in London, the Select Franchise team beat off stiff competition from five other short listed companies to scoop the Franchise Recruitment Team of the Year Award.

Independently judged by the British Franchise Association, Daily Mail, Chartered Institute of Marketing, Rees Pollock and Volkswagen, and sponsored by a variety of big names within the franchise industry, these awards recognise the industry’s most innovative and effective marketing campaigns for products, services and franchisee recruitment.

Judges commented that Select had “a strong recruitment team, experienced and practical with a dedicated support culture. 2006 was their most successful year for recruiting franchisees to date.”

On receiving the award, Deb Smith, Director of Franchise, commented “We are delighted to win this award – it is the first year we have entered and 2006 was a real success story for Select Franchise with more partners joining us than ever before.”

2006 also saw the introduction of Parkhouse Recruitment, the industrial specialists, to Select Franchise’s offering which has continued with the introduction of Select Hospitality in 2007. Smith continues “I am thrilled that the team have gained the recognition they deserve – they have such a diverse set of skills and over 30 years of Select experience between them which is imperative to demonstrate to potential franchise partners we have experience of the industry that are choosing to invest in.”
